INDEPENDENCE PARK

Please review rental polices on the agreement prior to your rental. there are items that are not allowed and it is the renter’s responsibility to be fully aware of that prior to payment. no refunds can be issued after payment.

Wedding Contract

CASE SHELTER

The Case Shelter is on your right as you come up the hill in Independence Park. The Case generally has four to six picnic tables, with a capacity of about 40. There are a couple sites next to the Case for parking, the rest are up the hill in the main lot. Parking in the grass is not permitted.

Cost

$50 per day – payment due within seven days of booking your reservation. Reservations are RAIN or SHINE. No refunds are available. 

Must have a completed shelter agreement form on file with the Johnson County Parks and Recreation office prior to your reservation. Weddings are required to fill out and submit the Wedding Contract, which is linked above. 

REMC SHELTER

The REMC Shelter is located to the right of the playground if you are facing the playground. It is nearer to the swings and the restrooms. There are generally six picnic tables in the shelter and it has a capacity of about 45. There is no parking immediately next to the REMC Shelter, but the parking lot is very, very close. Parking in the grass is not permitted.

$50 per day – payment due within seven days of booking your reservation. Reservations are RAIN or SHINE. No refunds are available.

BARGERSVILLE UTILITIES SHELTER

The Bargersville Utility Shelter is located to the left of the playground, nearest to the toddler playground. There are generally six picnic tables in the shelter and it has a capacity of about 45. There is no parking immediately next to the Bargersville Utility Shelter, but the parking lot is very, very close. Parking in the grass is not permitted.
