Johnson County Park has 58 perfect camping sites for your camper or RV, complete with showers, restrooms, playgrounds and community campfire. Hoosier Horse Park has 70 available for those enjoying equestrian activities.
NO TENT CAMPING IS ALLOWED ON JOHNSON COUNTY PARK GROUNDS.
Scout groups are still permitted to tent camp with reservations.

Refunds cannot be given because of weather conditions. Credits on accounts are ONLY possible when PRIOR NOTICE is given (at least 24 hours ahead) because of an emergency. All credits will be subject to approval by the Park Superintendent.
Camping is still available in the off-season after we have turned off the water at the campsites for the colder months. Please feel free to call the park office for the most up to date information on the campground. NEW AS OF 2020: The Campground Showerhouse will close COMPLETELY during our off season. Any campers that camp in the off season (November 1- April 1) will need to haul all water in.

Call for reservations or stop by the park office. Reservations for the HHP Campground must be placed the week of your show, and must be received by 4 p.m. on Thursday. Payments must be made at the time of reservation. If reservation is made over the phone, credit cards must be used, and a fee will be assessed based on amount charged.
FROM THE NORTH: Take I-65 South to Exit 90 (Franklin). Take a right off the exit to head WEST on SR 44 to US 31. Turn LEFT onto US 31 to go SOUTH. Stay on US 31 S for 5 miles to SR 252. Turn RIGHT onto SR 252 to head WEST. (Just before you turn you’ll see a HUGE rocking chair at Long’s Furniture World.) Take SR 252 W two miles to County Road 325 E (also called Schoolhouse Road). Turn LEFT onto 325 E/Schoolhouse. There is a Johnson County Park sign at this turn, which will be a big hint, directionally. The park is located 2 miles SOUTH on Schoolhouse Road, past the DNR Office on the right. Take a RIGHT onto North Street off Schoolhouse to get to the Campground.
FROM THE SOUTH Take I-65 NORTH to Exit 76-B (Edinburgh). You’ll see Edinburgh Outlet Mall. Go to the third traffic light, counting the one at the mall and turn LEFT at the 3 rd light. You’ll turn onto Hospital Road, at a sign pointing toward Camp Atterbury. You will see Camp Atterbury, Johnson County Park and Hoosier Horse Park signs as you approach and pass the main gate to Atterbury. Whispering Pines Golf Course will be on the RIGHT. After you pass that, take the first RIGHT onto Schoolhouse Road. You will pass the entrance to Job Corps and the Horse Park on your left. Take a LEFT onto North Street to get to the Campground.
